Flavours of Iraq

Flavours of Iraq was born in the tweets published by Feurat Alani about his personal history and that of his native Iraq: more than 10,000 messages, which tell his daily life and family stories, his encounters from Baghdad to Fallujah, as well as his life in the city of Nanterre in France. After his book adaptation (Fragrance of Iraq, Albert Londres 2019 Award), and a web series on Arte’s website, this TV format continues the story and takes a look at the more recent events in the country’s history, the “Daech years” from 2011 to 2017.
